About the Role
The Student Administration Officer plays a crucial role in supporting nursing and allied health students during their rural clinical placements, contributing to building the rural health workforce. This position involves providing essential administrative support, including accommodation arrangements, financial assistance, and coordination with placement sites. Working closely with the GRH team at the Department of Rural Health, the incumbent ensures the smooth operation of the GRH Student Support Program, contributing to strategic goals for rural health workforce development.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
