Job Description:
The role:
As part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency Policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Administrative Officer:
- Undertakes a range of high-level administrative functions for Mental Health Services - South, including supervision of administrative staff as required and the coordination of administrative processes.
- Provides high level day to day administrative support services to the relevant team
- Provide quality administrative and reception support to the relevant team, including undertaking special projects under the direction of the Manager.
- Undertake leave management, training of staff in new processes, the orientation of new or casual administrative staff and the ongoing support of existing administrative staff.
- Manage and coordinate administrative support systems for the efficient and effective operation of the relevant team

- To work in a variety of administrative positions across Mental Health Services
- Full orientation will be provided
Details of Appointment
Fixed term casual, day worker position working when required, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 24 months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar casual vacancies.
Salary: $71,661 - $77,455 per annum (pro-rata) + 11% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Location: South, Tasmania
