The role: Manage the postgraduate medical education and training program and prevocational workforce within the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) and ensure that this is in accordance with the requirements of the Australian Medical Council (AMC) through the Postgraduate Medical Education Council of Tasmania (PMCT). This includes liaison with specialist colleges and the University of Tasmania. The Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time clinical investigator track position for the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This position seeks an ABIM certified (or eligible) hematologist-oncologist with experience in managing patients with lymphoid malignancies, specifically lymphomas and lymphoproliferative disorders, and an active interest in the development and conduct of clinical trials.
