Classification Title: Pediatric Psychologist - Clinical / Assistant / Associate / Full Professor Job Description: Job Description The University of Florida, Department of Pediatrics is pleased to announce a faculty opening for a full-time Pediatric Psychologist in the Section of Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics. This position will be a non-tenure track at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary behavioral health team that is co-located and integrated into a large, multi-site general pediatrics practice within an academic medical center. Patients are referred to the team by general pediatrics providers and pediatrics subspecialty providers within and outside of UFHealth. The psychologist will provide a broad range of outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents and their families, including triage, consultation, care coordination, DSM 5 diagnostic assessments, psychological testing, problem-focused, evidence-based interventions, and referrals to other behavioral health and general pediatrics providers at UF Health and in the community as needed. Assignment will be comprised of clinical assessment and evaluation, psychosocial therapies, research, teaching and administrative activities.
