The successful applicant for this position will join an established team of ECC clinicians and will work in a progressive and collaborative service, the position will be primarily based in our VECCS Level 1 and AAHA certified hospital in Gainesville. ECC at UF also runs a busy extracorporeal therapy service including intermittent hemodialysis, CRRT, therapeutic plasma exchange and hemoperfusion – if this is not currently in your skillset then this is a great opportunity to learn some new techniques! We have a minimum of 2 criticalists on duty each day at our Gainesville hospital allowing for collaboration and sharing of ideas. You will be involved in primary patient care, along with instruction and supervision of DVM students, interns and residents.
