The role: The Nursing Director - RHH Integrated Operations Centre: Undertakes a key senior management role with responsibility for leading strategic planning, service delivery and policy development activities relating to the delivery of health services across the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) that improve patient pathways and access for the population, where appropriate. Takes operational management responsibility for Nursing and Clinical Directors across the service delivery areas of the RHH, working in collaboration and cooperation with other key senior personnel. Provides advice and assistance to the Chief Executive Hospitals South to inform decision making to promote the delivery of effective and efficient services within the RHH and to develop, implement and evaluate strategies that support the Department of Health (DoH) in achieving its key objectives. The Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time clinical investigator track position for the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This position seeks an ABIM certified (or eligible) hematologist-oncologist with experience in managing patients with lymphoid malignancies, specifically lymphomas and lymphoproliferative disorders, and an active interest in the development and conduct of clinical trials. This individual will have a primarily clinical assignment focused on lymphoma and will also be expected to develop, conduct, and participate in clinical trials and other collaborative research involving patients with lymphomas. Participation in the clinical service in the UF Veterinary Hospital includes receiving and management of orthopedic cases, consultations with within the hospital and with practicing veterinarians, participating in the growth of this service and continuing education.
