About the Role
The Student Experience Officer, part of the Student Experience team within the Faculty’s Learning and Teaching Unit, will coordinate and support various undergraduate and postgraduate initiatives aimed at improving student engagement and sense of belonging. Reporting to the Team Leader, Advising and Mentoring, the Officer will manage programs such as the Honours Alumni Mentor Program, MDHS Mentoring Program, and Academic Advising, contributing to high-quality programs that equip students with job-ready skills. This role involves collaborating with students, alumni, and the MDHS community to strengthen connections and ensure students are central to the Faculty's mission as outlined in the Advancing Health 2030 strategy.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with experience working collaboratively to support diverse stakeholders in a student or academic services context. They will demonstrate strong proficiency in administering large programs using enterprise systems, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to enhancing the student or client experience, focusing on connection and wellbeing.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
