The role:

The Clinical Nurse Specialist – Tasmanian Gender Service is based in the South but receives referrals from around the State. Within a multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide health care that is reflective of their highly developed knowledge, skills and experience in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of gender specific nursing care.

The CNS – Tasmanian Gender Service will also act as a clinical resource for staff and other providers who are involved in the management of patients with complex gender related issues or concerns, alongside playing a key role in data collection, research, and ongoing quality improvement.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, part time, day worker position working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $103,466 to $109,165 pro-rata per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
