Job Description:

• Exciting opportunity to work with cutting edge web technologies and cloud infrastructure including Azure Integration Services, Function Apps, Web Apps, Azure release pipelines, and much more.
• Level 8, full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
• Base salary range: $124,926 – $136,549 p.a. (pro-rata) inclusive of superannuation (negotiable between 11% - 17%).

About the opportunity

As the appointee you will, under broad direction, be responsible for ensuring that the solutions are created and maintained in alignment with best practice and internal standards. You will work on business as usual and continuous improvement initiatives as well as work with project services team members on project delivery. You will be required to contribute and provide expertise across the full software development lifecycle from engaging with internal business customers, eliciting software requirements and to research, build, test, support and document solutions.

About you

Skills and experience include:

• Microservices architecture.
• RESTful Services.
• Unit and Integration Testing Practices.
• Familiarity with Secure Development Practices.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency.
• Substantial experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle, including demonstrated experience in designing enterprise-grade solutions and extensive relevant experience in developing, implementing, integrating, repairing, and maintaining complex application systems.
• Extensive technical experience with the following technologies: C#; .NET; Azure Integration Services.
• Proven experience implementing API layers using REST or SOAP to integrate legacy applications and experience using Pipelines in Azure DevOps for CI/CD and the demonstrated ability to gather and document requirements appropriate to the applied methodology.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recognise and resolve system related problems; work independently and make necessary decisions within guidelines.
• ITIL Certification or demonstrated experience in ITIL processes, and knowledge of the Higher Education sector is desirable.
