The HRIS Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Business Analyst is a subject matter expert in HR processes and the use of HR systems, in particular the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) package solution, in the administration of human resources at UNSW. They are the key intermediary between business end-users and UNSW IT to ensure that processes and systems meet business and legislative requirements. The HRIS SME and Business Analyst is accountable for analysing and defining requirements, collaborating with different stakeholders to deliver the functionality within HR systems and providing system user configuration and administration. The role of HRIS SME and Business Analyst reports to the Manager of HR Systems Operations and has no direct reports.
