The Senior Solutions Architect creates, develops, and delivers solutions architecture artefacts and technical designs from inception to operationalisation that meet the needs of the business.

UNSW is investing in establishing contemporary fit-for-purpose data storage and management capabilities to enable academic and research excellence, support UNSW's strategic priorities, and be a top 50 global university.

In partnership with UNSW IT and PVC Research Infrastructure, the multi-year strategic Research Data Experience (RDE) program will uplift research data management functions, including policy development and alignment, to provide an end-to-end experience across the entire research data lifecycle.

The Senior Solutions Architect will work closely with the Lead Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Technology team and the PVC Research Infrastructure to identify options and design holistic research data capabilities, including policy development and alignment, to provide an end-to-end experience across the entire research data lifecycle delivering future-ready, fit-for-research, secure, sustainable, cost-effective, solutions in alignment with UNSW strategy, enterprise architecture principles and framework.

The incumbent will ensure solution outcomes balance functional, service quality and systems management requirements while being cognisant of the evolving research needs and business processes.
