Occupational Therapist – Permanent Full Time

Tasmanian Health Service – Northern Tasmania (Launceston)

You will have the opportunity to rotate across many of the clinical services provided at the Launceston General Hospital. It’s an exciting and rewarding place to work, featuring contemporary, evidence-informed practice that sees you closely linked to the whole multidisciplinary team. We’ll look after you from the very beginning, ensure you are fully inducted and welcomed into our culture. Details of Appointment: Permanent, full-time, daytime position, working 76 hours per fortnight (part-time negotiable with the successful applicant)

Salary: $71,441 – $107,878 per annum + 11% superannuation

Salary Packaging: Access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year

Relocation Assistance: Reimbursement for up to $5000 of expenses incurred

Professional Development: $1000 per annum for expenses incurred for professional development

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia
  2. Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  1. Current Driver’s Licence

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
