  The Smithton District Hospital:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  Smithton District Hospital (SDH) is small sized sub-acute public hospital located in Smithton Tasmania. It services the whole Circular Head region with a catchment population of 8000 people. <\/p>\n

  The Hospital has 12 subacute beds accommodating general medicine, post-acute, palliative and end of life care. We have a 3 bay Emergency First Response Unit staffed by nurses and General Practitioners (Rural Medical Practitioners) who are contracted to provide on call medical services. However, surgery is not performed at this hospital. <\/p>\n

  SDH offer outpatient services including low risk chemotherapy and supportive treatments for cancer patients, blood products and iron transfusions for acute and chronic conditions. <\/p>\n

  SDH also provides twice weekly midwifery (antenatal) clinics. <\/p>\n

  Details of Appointment<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  Fixed term casual, shift-worker position working as and when required, commencing as soon as we can welcome you onboard for a period of 12 months.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Salary:<\/strong> $75,902 to $102,908 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.<\/span><\/p>\n

    You\u2019ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. <\/span><\/p>\n

       Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
