Audit Manager (Personal Banking and Wealth Management)

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

• Lead and manage internal audit engagements in Personal Banking and Wealth Management sector from planning, risk assessment, fieldwork to reporting<\/li>\n
• Assess compliance with relevant regulations and standards, evaluate the effectiveness of risk management and internal controls, identify areas for improvement and provide sound recommendations, validate effectiveness of remediation<\/li>\n
• Provide business stakeholders with recommendations on how to improve efficiency or optimize business processes and practices<\/li>\n
• Support ad-hoc projects as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Degree or above with major in Accountancy, Finance, Statistics, Risk Management or related disciplines<\/li>\n
  • Professional qualification of CPA or CIA or equivalent; CFA, FRM, CAMS, ACFE will be a plus<\/li>\n
  • 4 years or above experience in audit firms (preferably with sizable audit firms)\u3000and\/or financial institutions, in the role of auditing or risk & control functions. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Deputy Audit Manager.<\/li>\n
  • Solid experience in Personal Banking Sector (including retail lending, credit card, wealth management, branch operations, etc.), preferably in roles with duties of auditing, compliance review, control assessment, etc.<\/li>\n
  • Familiar with relevant laws & regulations, standards and market practices; knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and practices in Southeast Asia would be an advantage<\/li>\n
  • Good team-player with excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent report writing skills and self-motivated<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English, with good command of Mandarin<\/li>\n
  • Occasional travelling mainly to Southeast Asia is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>"
