The Enterprise Data Risk Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data risk at UNSW. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to define and drive the University’s enterprise-wide approach to protecting, governing, and responsibly using data across one of Australia’s leading institutions.
Operating with significant autonomy and influence, the role will lead the frameworks, policies, controls, and assurance practices that safeguard UNSW’s data assets and ensure resilience, compliance, and trust across faculties, divisions, and professional services. As UNSW’s principal authority on data risk, the role will provide strategic advice to senior leaders and help position UNSW as a sector leader in responsible data stewardship.
About you
This role will suit a strategic and influential data risk leader who can operate with authority in complex environments, drive enterprise-wide change, and embed a culture of accountability, resilience, compliance, and responsible data stewardship across UNSW. You must also have:
Relevant tertiary qualification in risk management, information management, or equivalent, with extensive relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
Extensive experience in data governance, privacy, information security, records management, and regulatory frameworks relevant to higher education.
Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-wide data risk frameworks, policies, and controls, embedding them sustainably into operations and culture.
Demonstrated ability to operationalise the Three Lines of Defence model at enterprise scale.
Strong track record of influencing executive decision-making and providing authoritative advice to governance bodies.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with proven ability to build trust and drive accountability across diverse academic and professional groups.
Strong analytical, assurance, and reporting skills, with ability to translate risk insights into actionable recommendations for executives and governance forums.
Significant background in risk management and/or audit, with expertise in recognised methodologies (e.g. ISO 31000, NIST, COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001).

We are seeking an unaccredited/SIMG registrar to work in the O&G unit at Royal Hobart Hospital. The successful applicant will work in the department providing elective and emergency care for all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Royal Hobart hospital is Tasmania’s largest hospital and major referral centre and has the tertiary NICU in the state. The Womens and Childrens department at RHH offer a comprehensive service including 24-hour labour ward coverage with over 2000 births per annum with both simple and complex care requirements. It provides outpatient high risk obstetric management including access to CVS and amniocentesis, advanced ultrasound and early pregnancy assessment in the new fetal monitoring unit. Extensive outpatient Gynaecology services include colposcopy, outpatient hysteroscopy, Urodynamics and Urogynaecology as well as routine gynaecology clinics. All areas of gynaecological surgery are performed.
As the major clinical teaching and research centre, RHH works closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. Weekly education session occurs within the department and include our affiliated specialty from other areas of the hospital.

The Team
Royal Hobart Hospital is Tasmania’s largest hospital and major referral centre. The Role
As part of a multidisciplinary Mental Health Service delivering high quality mental health care and in accordance with Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Staff Specialist - Consultant Psychiatrist:
Provides a comprehensive general adult Consultation-Liaison (CL) psychiatric service in the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) and associated facilities, including the Emergency Department (ED).
Assessing admitted medical/surgical patients in the Emergency Dept. and in all the other medical speciality units/beds across RHH
Acts as a consultant to mental health professionals, and health service providers including RHH medical staff, general practitioners and other agencies, with regard to the assessment and management of individuals with mental health disorders.
Undertakes supervisory responsibilities with psychiatric registrars and other medical staff as required and appropriate.
Working with the CL Psych team of doctors (staff specialists and registrars) and nurses (CNCs)
Participation in On-Call

Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1- Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3 $222,789 - $319,701 per annum, pro rata + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging (delete as applicable)
Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $309,222 - $319,701 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award

In addition, the following allowances and benefit, calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Provision of a fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or (Delete previous for part time SMP) motor vehicle allowance of $28,786 per annum, pro rata
Subject to approval from the Private Patient Scheme Committee (PPS), 35% of base salary plus on-call, pro rata) of additional payment will be paid from (PPS). If not admitted to the PPS, a 35% in lieu of PPS of base salary will be paid

The Team
The Medical Imaging Team within the Department of Health Tasmania is committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. Working collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, the team uses advanced imaging technology to provide safe, efficient, and patient-centred services. Focused on professionalism, quality, and continuous improvement, the team plays a vital role in supporting positive health outcomes for Tasmanians across a range of healthcare settings.
The Role
The Radiographer (Medical Imaging Practitioner) is responsible for:
Performing basic imaging examinations to produce images of the highest diagnostic value possible whilst using ionising radiations. Both in general and fluoroscopic radiography.
Ensuring compliance with the ‘as low as reasonably achievable’ (ALARA) principle whilst using ionising and non-ionising radiation to provide images.
You will need
Assess medical requests, patient status and capabilities, ensuring procedure preparation is adequate and in accordance with correct protocol.
Use imaging equipment and associated accessories safely, ensuring patient welfare and standard of care received, and avoid causing hazards to self, other staff, patients and equipment.
Assess and monitor quality of images to ensure appropriate standards are maintained, confirm all image demographics and labelling are appropriate and correct and ensure that image archiving is completed, and imaging is available for viewing in the Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) as appropriate.
