The Team
Royal Hobart Hospital is Tasmania’s largest hospital, and the Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit within the RHH is the Level 6, tertiary referral centre for all Cardiology and Cardiothoracic surgery in Tasmania. As the major clinical teaching and research centre, RHH works closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The Role
The Registered Nurse:
Strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.
You will need:
Current knowledge of, and the ability to apply nursing principles, procedures and practices in the delivery of patient/client care in a designated practice area and in line with legal requirements and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board (NMBA) Registered Nurse standards for practice.
Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including written skills and the ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Knowledge of continuous quality improvement (safety and quality) and the application of evidence based practice in the practice setting.

Details of appointment
Multiple fixed term full time and part time, shift worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for up to twelve (12) months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary
$80,524 to $109,175 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439- $109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Benefits available to eligible candidates:
Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.

We are seeking an experienced Career Medical Officer to provide clinical care at the Risdon Prison Hospital.
The position offers opportunities for ongoing professional and career development.
The successful candidate will participate in our medical officer on-call roster.
This is a permanent position, and a relocation allowance may be available.
You will need:
Substantial experience in the provision of community based medical services. Whilst previous experience in prison work is useful it is not mandatory.
Demonstrated ability to provide expert advice on the provision of health services.
Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership, supervision, teaching and direction to patients and workers within the prison setting.
Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, including the ability to liaise with both internal and external organisations.
Demonstrated understanding of the role of research and data collection in development of health services within the clinical environment.

About You
Treasury is looking for a Specialist Policy Analyst to join our Intergovernment and Financial Policy Branch to lead strategic research and analysis in relation to GST policy and revenue.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your specialist analytical capabilities to undertake modelling, research and analysis to inform Tasmania state positions for GST‑related matters.
You will be a motivated and capable individual with excellent analytical and judgement skills, and the ability to clearly communicate complex, technical issues relating to the GST distribution system to a range of stakeholders.
This role suits someone who has experience developing, using and interpreting financial models; undertaking complex research and analysis to inform policy proposals and advice; and can communicate technical concepts effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.

About the Branch
The Intergovernment and Financial Policy Branch provides advice on the major sources of revenue to the Government such as the GST, own source taxation, and Australian Government grants and transfers. The branch also provides policy advice on major intergovernment agreements such as health, education, housing, disability, infrastructure, and the environment.

Job Description:
The University of Florida, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking an outstanding neonatologist to work in the Division of Neonatology at UF Health Gainesville Florida. The successful applicant will serve as a physician and provide clinical care in the Level IV NICU at UF Health Children’s Hospital. Scholarly work is expected, and physician-scientist tracts are available for qualified candidates. Excellence in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, is expected.
