The Team:
Adult Mental Health Services South is part of Statewide Mental Health Services (SMHS) that provides care for Tasmanians experiencing mental health conditions, alcohol and drug challenges, and forensic or correctional health needs. SMHS includes six specialist areas: Adult Mental Health, Child and Youth Mental Health, Older Persons Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Services, Forensic Mental Health, and Correctional Primary Health Services. Services are delivered in both inpatient hospital settings and community-based programs, often in partnership with local organisations.
The business analyst is part of the Finance and Business Support (FBS) team that assists with the development and allocation of Adult Mental Health South budgets and external funding and monitor and report on financial performance throughout the financial year.
This position supports Adult Mental Health South management and cost centre managers to identify improvements in resource management, data capture and business processes. This includes providing advice, analysis and research in relation to the Adult Mental Health South budget, financial management, activity and business processes.
The Role:
Prepare financial reports including monthly reports and Commonwealth/external party funding acquittals on an accrual and cash basis, for a range of users.
Prepare performance reports incorporating human resource, service activity and financial information. Advise Adult Mental Health South Management and service managers on appropriate actions to take to achieve targets and provide support to implement.
Undertake in-depth analysis of business unit and cost centre performance, identifying key issues, trends and variances. Provide advice and make recommendations to the Business Manager to implement agreed strategies.
You will need:
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of financial, human resource and activity systems, accrual and cash accounting concepts and accounting procedures with experience in applying this understanding within business operational environments.
Well-developed conceptual, analytical, creative and research skills, with an ability to clearly articulate the results, recommend actions to make improvements and the preparation of reports.
Demonstrated high level attention to detail including in depth analysis of information with a focus on accuracy and quality.

The Team
Oral Health Services Tasmania (OHST) is a division of the Tasmania Department of Health that provides public dental care services to eligible Tasmanians. Its primary goal is to improve oral health outcomes across the state, particularly for vulnerable and disadvantaged populations.
OHST is a team of approximately 300 people including dentists, oral health therapists, dental prosthetists, technicians, dental assistants and administrative staff. Care is provided from 33 clinics around Tasmania. Adult services are predominantly provided from 6 major centres located in Hobart (New Town), Clarence, Glenorchy, Launceston, Devonport and Burnie as well as the 3 Special Care dental Units (located within hospital precincts). Child and Adolescent Services are provided predominantly from 23 community clinics which are either located in a community health centre or are a stand-alone clinic.
The Role
The Dental Technician provides specialised technical expertise in the design, construction and repair of a range of dental prostheses and appliances to support the delivery of quality oral health care to eligible clients of Oral Health Services Tasmania. Working as part of a multidisciplinary dental team, the role is responsible for producing high-quality prosthetic work, resolving complex technical issues, and maintaining effective collaboration with dental clinicians and support staff. The Dental Technician also contributes to training and knowledge sharing within the laboratory environment, while actively participating in quality, safety and work health and safety processes to support the delivery of safe and effective services.
You will need
Demonstrated knowledge of dental technology with the capacity to analyse and research options to carry out technical procedures for complex dental prosthetic cases.
Ability and commitment to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
High level interpersonal, communication and consultation skills, including the ability to supervise and motivate members of a team.

The Team
The North West Regional Hospital are seeking dedicated and suitably experienced Registered Nurses to join their team. ICU is a specialized area that requires skilled staff to care for critically unwell patients requiring organ support via ventilation, continuous renal replacement therapy and haemodynamic support.
The Role
The Registered Nurse strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.
Our ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience working in an ICU setting
Ventilator (Draeger) and CRRT (Prismaflex) experience
Paediatric experience and post graduate certification (highly desirable)

The Team
The Emergency Department (ED) is a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to providing safe, timely and high-quality emergency care to the Tasmanian community. Clinical Nurse Educator supports early patient assessment and improved patient flow by ensuring nurses have the knowledge and skills to provide timely interventions. Working as part of the Department of Health, this role partners closely with the Nursing Director, Nurse Unit Manager and the broader interdisciplinary team to deliver education, build workforce capability and support continuous improvement in emergency care.
The Role
Develop, implement and evaluate education frameworks, training programs and associated learning resources for the Emergency Department.
Coordinate and deliver ongoing education, training and professional development to support staff in the ED while promoting evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
Collaborate with nursing leadership and the multidisciplinary team to support quality improvement initiatives, staff development and excellence in the CNE position.
You will need:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (essential), with relevant postgraduate qualifications desirable.
Demonstrated clinical expertise in emergency nursing, with experience developing, delivering and evaluating education and training programs.
Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills, with a strong understanding of quality improvement, patient safety, contemporary education principles and Work Health and Safety requirements.
