The role:
The Allied Health Lead - Critical Care, Clinical Support & Investigations role provides clinical oversight and coordination of Allied Health services across the Critical Care, Clinical Support and Investigations stream, including the Emergency Department and Department of Critical Care at Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH). This includes providing a point of contact and communication for Allied Health staff and engaging with nursing and medical leadership for those wards in an Allied Health leadership capacity.

The team:
Work in a multidisciplinary Allied Health team that provides support and services to Allied Health Services across THS Hospitals South
Work with nursing and medical leadership in the Critical Care, Clinical Support and Investigations stream to provide excellent care to our community
Details of Appointment
Permanent, part time, day worker position working 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary:
$116,616 to $124,147 pro-rata, per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum
Please note that access to salaries beyond $120,908 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of unregulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association

Duties
The purpose of the role is to assist the Manager Infrastructure to plan, develop and maintain the Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) Geographic Information System (GIS) including the development and management of the PWS Asset Management System (AMS).
Desirable Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Geographic Information Systems or Information Technology.
Demonstrated experience in the management and operation of GIS, relational databases and reporting systems, preferably ArcGIS and SQL Server.
A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.

The role:
The MST Practitioner will work as part of a small team to deliver and embed the first MST program in Tasmania, in strict accordance with the MST model. The MST Practitioner will:
Manage a small caseload and provide in-home and out-of-home therapy to young people with mental health concerns and challenging behaviours, and their families.
Identify and engage key participants in the young person’s family, community and wider system to determine systemic risks and strengths to develop systemic intervention plans.
Negotiate therapeutic goals and mobilise systemic resources to assist in meeting these goals.
Utilise skills in behaviour management, cognitive behaviour therapy and family/care giver therapy to achieve realistic and clinically appropriate therapeutic goals.

Participation in an oncall roster is a requirement.
Some intrastate travel is required.

The role:
Seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to work within our Community Physiotherapy Service.
Within the Department Framework and in accordance with Agency Policy and Procedures the Senior Physiotherapist will, within a defined clinical team and/or other specified areas of the Hospitals South:
Provide evidence-driven, patient centred physiotherapy care within the community clinical team which may include domiciliary services.
Promote a learning culture supporting leadership and clinical supervision to junior physiotherapists, allied health assistants and undergraduate students working in the community health centres.
Provide clinical expertise and professional education to Physiotherapy, Allied Health, Medical and Nursing teams, and external agencies.
Foster innovation and support quality improvement and service delivery projects.
