The Team
TasEquip is a small statewide service. We operate a loan scheme for eligible clients to loan equipment to discharge from hospital or to stay safely at home. The equipment we manage includes but is not limited to commodes, walking aides, and hospital beds.
The small TasEquip team works together to achieve an efficient and effective service across the whole of the equipment loan cycle (procurement, commission, track, deliver, collect, return, clean, check and repair). In addition to handling equipment the team deal with health professionals who request equipment and the patients who are our customers and their families.
The Role
The Asset Cleaner / Handyman is the practical 'hands on' member of the team. Working closely with the other team members they have a diverse range of practical tasks that provide a mixed and varied workday. They undertake
Routine maintenance repairs and minor alterations to equipment (non-trade functions).
the delivery, collection and minor repairs of assets in the community.
effective and efficient cleaning of assets in accordance with Agency policies and guidelines.
If you have an eye for detail, know your way around minor repairs, and like to see things clean this job will provide you with a varied and interesting workday.
You will need
Demonstrated ability and experience in efficient cleaning to a consistently high standard, or the capacity to acquire such knowledge.
Knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of chemicals, safe manual handling techniques and work health and safety principles.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, together with sound communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience is minor repairs and maintenance.

Details of appointment
Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$59,668 to $65,185 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.

The College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics has a broad academic mission encompassing research,patient care, clinical service contracts, and the education of residents, fellows, medical students, healthcareprofessionals, graduate assistants, and postdoctoral associates.
This position provides high-level administrative support shared equally (50%/50%) between the PowellGene Therapy Center (PGTC) and the Center for Advanced Therapeutics (CAT), directly supporting theDirectors of both Centers. The role requires independent judgment, discretion, and proactive coordinationacross complex research, clinical, and institutional activities.
Provides comprehensive, high-level administrative support to the Directors of the Powell Gene Therapy
Center and the Center for Advanced Therapeutics. Works closely with Center leadership, faculty, and staff
to ensure efficient daily operations of two large, multidisciplinary research centers.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SUPPORT
• Advanced calendar management for both PGTC and CAT Directors requiring prioritization, rapid response, and independent judgment
• Sets deadlines and assigns tasks that contribute to the overall function of both offices
• Flexible scheduling that may require availability outside standard business hours
• Comprehensive correspondence management including mail and packages for both Centers
• Executive-level decision making with minimal supervision, operating independently as a self-starter
• Confidential and non-routine administrative tasks requiring discretion and professional judgment
• Processing reimbursements and forwarding documentation to appropriate fiscal leadership for tracking
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
• Budget monitoring for both PGTC and CAT internal and sponsored budgets to ensure compliance

• Managing reconciliation of PCARD transactions in compliance with University and departmental policies
• Procurement management and serving as backup for ordering research and office supplies
• Travel financial coordination including preparation and processing of TA's, ER's, flights, lodging,

• Primary administrative point of contact for PGTC and CAT, coordinating with Pediatrics divisions, UF Health, and central administrative offices
• Public relations and inter-departmental communication management
• Coordinating Directors' participation in institutional, national, and international committees, advisory boards, and collaborative initiatives

Job Description:
The Clinical Programs Coordinator I herein serves as the Streetlight Program Coordinator and assists the Program Director with administering the program- which includes volunteer supervision, maintenance of Streetlight REDcap database, and provision of patient care for adolescent and young adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The incumbent assists the Program Director with facilitation of volunteer selection, training, and daily briefing meetings. The incumbent maintains the program's social media, helps develop promotional materials, and assists with management of inventory related to patient care.
TEAM SUPPORT
Assists Program Director with new volunteer orientation and provides ongoing education in palliative care, chronic and terminal illness, HIPAA compliance and best practices to provide psychosocial care ton the target population
Assists Program Director to provide leadership and oversight for volunteer project teams (CF, Oncology, Sickle Cell, Autoimmune, Transplant, and Gaming and Online Team)
Conducts briefing meetings (one hour each) with the volunteers that include a weekly education focus, announcements, psychosocial records, and facilitated patient care intervention discussion based on the progress of the patient
Organizes and archives team education materials
Coordinates volunteer graduation ceremony and other social events
Assists the Program Director to provide bereavement support to volunteers
Assists Program Director to coordinate external supportive services for volunteers in maintaining selfcare
Creates volunteer organizational tools including record keeping databases, polls, surveys, and sign ups
PATIENT SUPPORT
Provides psychosocial support to adolescent and young adult patients via inpatient and outpatient visits, personalized projects, Teen Lounge, special events, and communication and programming through the Streetlight Discord
Provides end-of-life support including creation of legacy projects

Records volunteer attendance
Assists the Program Director in the following
Recruiting, screening, interviewing and orientation of new team members;
Reviewing EPIC charts for Streetlight patient

Managing Streetlight encrypted SharePoint site featuring weekly team educational readings, announcements, and educational web links
Managing Streetlight Volunteer and Patient REDCap Database
Maintaining inventory of program supplies
Facilitating communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to best meet the needs of patients enrolled in Streetlight.
PROGRAM PROMOTION AND EXPORTATION
Creates and designs social media content for Streetlight events and outreach
Assists with creation of promotional materials of the Streetlight program including brochures, pamphlets, and other digital and printed materials
Manages the Streetlight website, Instagram, and Facebook page, ensuring all quality and privacy standards are met
Initiates and facilitates community relations to support Streetlight activities (e.g., in-kind gifts, food provided for events, printing services and discounts, etc.)

Job Description:
The Department of Psychiatry at UF College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida is seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Psychology. The position is a 12 month, full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenured track faculty position. As a member of the University of Florida College of Medicine faculty, your assignment will be to work in collaboration with the UF Health Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment to expand the BCBA services, with a particular focus on the behavioral assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorder. Your assignment may be changed based on the needs of the department and/or college.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will work to expand the applied behavior analysis and treatment services for children with a severe behavior disorder specifically in the areas of behavioral assessment and treatment of severe behavior and/or pediatric feeding disorder. In addition, this position will participate in a growing research program in improving care for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders severe behavior (including pediatric feeding disorder). Furthermore, this position will serve as an important academic faculty by supporting the training of medical and psychology students, interns, residents, and fellows for individuals with unique neurodevelopmental diagnoses, severe behavior, including pediatric feeding disorder
Expected Salary:
$100,000 - 105,000
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis, board certification at the doctoral level
Current and maintain BCBA-D certificate
At least five years of experience in behavioral treatment for severe behavior or pediatric feeding disorders.

About the Department of Psychiatry
Faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida are engaged in groundbreaking projects covering a variety of interests through our Centers, labs, and collaborations with other departments. The Department of Psychiatry includes a large outpatient center with various specialty clinics within (including one associated with our Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment), a very active inpatient service, psychiatry collaborative program for primary care practitioners, school consultation program, and community consultation services.
