About the Role
The Arch Centres provide a trauma-informed, coordinated response to support victim-survivors of sexual violence in Tasmania through the co-location of multiple service providers. Arch Centres include representatives from Laurel House, Sexual Assault Support Service, Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management, Department of Health and DECYP.The Children, Young Persons and their Families Act 1997 provides the legal mandate for the department to take action to protect children and young people from abuse and neglect and promote their safety stability and development. Child Safety Workers have a specific statutory role in protecting children and young people from harm and promoting their rights and healthy development. In Tasmania, Child Safety Officers work within a legislative framework, the Child Protection Practice Framework, and the Child Protection Professional Practice Standards (attached). Child Safety Officers have sound self-management skills, self-awareness, and emotional maturity, with the ability to understand the personal impacts of child protection work and strategies for managing stress and building resilience. It is important that Child Safety Officers have the ability to conduct work with integrity and honesty, adhere to confidentiality requirements, and demonstrate a commitment to working with children, young people, and their families.Within the Arch Centres, Child Safety Officers are responsible for receiving, investigating, and assessing notifications concerning children at risk of sexual violence and abuse. The role works collaboratively with families, Police, specialist services, and other professionals to resolve concerns, ensure the safety of children, and provide immediate therapeutic and protective responses. Child Safety Officers jointly triage matters with partner agencies, identify statutory thresholds, and initiate statutory actions when required. In situations involving significant risk, the role may also participate in legal processes and interventions in the Magistrates Court.
These roles are located in the South, North and North-West of Tasmania.

Relevant experience in case management/casework practice within a child safety or similar context or experience within the broader human/family services sector in particular child/maternal health, mental health, drug and alcohol, community health or youth health.

About the opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist and educator to contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) across the Doctor of Pharmacy program.
You will play a key role in designing and coordinating high-quality clinical placements, ensuring students gain meaningful, diverse, and practice-ready experiences aligned with evolving scopes of practice and accreditation standards.
In this role, you will:
Deliver high-quality teaching and coordination of WIL units across undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programs
Lead the design and continuous improvement of practice-based education, including innovative assessment methods such as Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs)
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with hospitals, community pharmacy, aged care, and primary care settings to support sustainable clinical placements
Engage with industry preceptors and supervisors through training, support, and site engagement activities
Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance processes, and accreditation requirements (including APC standards)
Support data-informed continuous improvement through analysis of student, supervisor, and placement outcomes
Contribute to a collaborative academic environment through teaching, service, and professional engagement activities
You will also support WIL delivery across practitioner development areas such as prescribing, advanced medicines management, and chronic disease education during peak periods.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong combination of clinical expertise, teaching capability, and stakeholder engagement experience:
A degree in Pharmacy with current unconditional registration with AHPRA, and a PhD (or equivalent professional standing) in a relevant discipline
Demonstrated experience in teaching within health professional programs, including clinical education or Work Integrated Learning
Experience designing and delivering practice-based assessments (e.g. EPAs or similar competency-based models)
Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers to support student placements and workforce development
A commitment to inclusive, culturally safe teaching practices and a collaborative, team-oriented approach

The Team:
Adult Mental Health Services South is part of Statewide Mental Health Services (SMHS) that provides care for Tasmanians experiencing mental health conditions, alcohol and drug challenges, and forensic or correctional health needs. SMHS includes six specialist areas: Adult Mental Health, Child and Youth Mental Health, Older Persons Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Services, Forensic Mental Health, and Correctional Primary Health Services. Services are delivered in both inpatient hospital settings and community-based programs, often in partnership with local organisations.
The business analyst is part of the Finance and Business Support (FBS) team that assists with the development and allocation of Adult Mental Health South budgets and external funding and monitor and report on financial performance throughout the financial year.
This position supports Adult Mental Health South management and cost centre managers to identify improvements in resource management, data capture and business processes. This includes providing advice, analysis and research in relation to the Adult Mental Health South budget, financial management, activity and business processes.
The Role:
Prepare financial reports including monthly reports and Commonwealth/external party funding acquittals on an accrual and cash basis, for a range of users.
Prepare performance reports incorporating human resource, service activity and financial information. Advise Adult Mental Health South Management and service managers on appropriate actions to take to achieve targets and provide support to implement.
Undertake in-depth analysis of business unit and cost centre performance, identifying key issues, trends and variances. Provide advice and make recommendations to the Business Manager to implement agreed strategies.
You will need:
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of financial, human resource and activity systems, accrual and cash accounting concepts and accounting procedures with experience in applying this understanding within business operational environments.
Well-developed conceptual, analytical, creative and research skills, with an ability to clearly articulate the results, recommend actions to make improvements and the preparation of reports.
Demonstrated high level attention to detail including in depth analysis of information with a focus on accuracy and quality.
