Why your role matters
The Senior Business Analyst leads complex business analysis activities across enterprise -wide projects and/or initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders to design solutions that align with UNSW’s strategic goals within the Enterprise Data Office (EDO). The role drives the definition of business needs, process improvements, and data requirements, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with institutional priorities.
The role influences business and technology decisions, mentors’ other analysts, and contributes to the continuous improvement of analysis practices, standards, and tools across the University.
About you
Relevant tertiary qualification with extensive relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
Demonstrated significant experience as a business analyst in large, complex organisations, with demonstrated ability to lead strategic and enterprise-scale initiatives.
Proven ability to operate effectively within structured and agile delivery environments (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
High-level expertise in business analysis techniques and tools, including process mapping, data analysis, requirements elicitation, solution evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrated experience developing business cases, contributing to procurement or vendor selection processes, and supporting implementation of enterprise platforms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex interdependencies and develop practical solutions.
Outstanding communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with experience working with diverse stakeholder groups including executive sponsors, technical teams, and end users.
Demonstrated leadership in guiding, mentoring, or reviewing the work of other analysts within or across teams.
Familiarity with enterprise systems, data governance, CRM, ERP, or integration platforms is desirable.

The Team
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist, with a passion for rehabilitation type care including in the older person, to join our Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Team. This team is based in Southern Tasmania across the various RHH campuses (with considerable services at the Repatriation Centre) and provides physiotherapy care to patients at RHH campuses as well as patient homes, across Southern Tasmania. Duties include:
• Provision of goal-directed, person-centred care
• Leading quality improvement projects and service development
• Supervision of allied health assistants, level 1-2 physiotherapists, or physiotherapy students as required
The Senior Physiotherapist will be a member of the Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Team and from time to time may support other areas of the service within their scope of practice. The Rehabilitation Team services include transition care, geriatric rehabilitation, palliative care, psychogeriatrics, and acute rehabilitation.

The Role
Provide and maintain optimal specialist physiotherapy services within the Southern region of Tasmania.
Provide professional guidance and support to level 1-2 Physiotherapists and support staff.
Assess plan and implement treatment programs for patients requiring physiotherapy.
Educate patients, carers and other members of the health care team.
Provide clinical leadership and support for Level 1-2 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, Physiotherapy students, and work experience students.
Work as an effective member of multidisciplinary teams in achieving patient-focused outcomes.
Act as a physiotherapy resource in designated area of physiotherapy.
Implement, review and report on quality improvement, education and research activities and projects undertaken for the Physiotherapy Department as required.

You will need
Significant general and specific physiotherapist experience relevant to the identified clinical area/unit in conjunction with sound knowledge of relevant contemporary physiotherapy practice including assessment, intervention techniques, literature, resources and equipment.
Proven commitment to ongoing professional development and ability to supervise and educate other health professionals, undergraduate students and support workers and a continuing contribution to knowledge in the identified clinical area/unit.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a complex multidisciplinary environment.

Salary

About the role
The Senior System Administrator (Linux Infrastructure) is responsible for the management and support of all non‑Windows systems, including critical applications such as theLIST, FILMS, VISTAS, TasFol, and others.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing specialist advice and delivering high‑level services to ensure the efficient and optimal management of database technologies, as well as backup technologies and processes.
Researching, designing, installing, troubleshooting, optimising, maintaining, and supporting infrastructure, frameworks, and web‑delivered application platforms.
Selecting, optimising, maintaining, and leveraging storage and replication technologies at the system level to support both existing and new applications.
This role is fundamental to the reliable delivery of essential systems used by the department and the public, including applications that support natural disaster response.
Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Desirable requirements
A degree or an equivalent qualification relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by a university, a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider.

Department/Unit: Intensive Care Unit
Location: Launceston General Hospital
State: Tasmania
The Team:
The Launceston General Hospital (LGH) has a purpose-built Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with 11 fully staffed beds (expandable to 13). We are the major referral centre for North and North West Tasmania. We are accredited as a general training unit (C12 pre-2014) by CICM and for completion of the ICU requirement of training for both ACEM and ANZCA trainees. Time in our unit also counts a Rural Exposure for CICM. Our trainees gain exposure to a wide range of investigations, interventions, and procedures.

A weekly teaching program including formal ICU teaching and ICU skills sessions
Weekly echocardiography training
A regular Journal Club
Support for trainees preparing primary and fellowship exams
A monthly Morbidity and Mortality meeting
Research grants available
