Your responsibilities will include:
Participant Recruitment: Recruit participants for research studies, respond to inquiries, explain study details, and screen for eligibility.
Data Collection: Administer questionnaires, structured interviews, and semi-structured interviews in person, online, or over the phone.
Study Coordination: Schedule assessments, track participant progress, maintain databases, and ensure accurate timing of study activities.
Research Support: Develop and maintain project databases, securely transfer data, attend project meetings, and contribute to report writing.

OpportunityThe Circular Economy Chair is a pivotal position in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at The University of Melbourne, dedicated to tackling urgent global sustainability challenges. With the world’s consumption of natural resources outpacing Earth’s capacity and waste problems mounting, a shift to a circular economy is essential. This role offers you the opportunity to lead innovative research, and apply chemical and engineering principles to reimagine resource use and waste reduction.
As Chair, you will establish and expand the University’s circular economy research initiatives, build an interdisciplinary team, and secure funding from industry and philanthropic sources. The Team:
The Environmental Services unit of the Department of Health (DoH) is responsible for the provision of cleaning, waste management and linen services to all Southern Region Health Facilities.
The Role:
The Administrative Officer provides high-level administrative support to the Environmental Services management team and assist in the efficient and effective operation of the Environmental Services Department including supporting the administration and processing of, payroll, human resource, financial and administrative information for the area.
You will need:
Knowledge of administrative financial instruction, policies and legislation associated with accounts receivable and payable, and human resource award interpretation.
Sound knowledge and experience of administrative practices and the utilisation of contemporary computer applications together with the ability to research, analyse and interpret information.
Demonstrated ability to process data, reconcile reports, prepare payroll documentation, and attend to enquiries within established guidelines.
Understanding of rostering principles and procedures including a working knowledge of computer-based rostering, timesheet and staff records.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
