About the RoleJoin our vibrant team in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology at The University of Melbourne! Your responsibilities will include:
Actively contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of the clinical education program in the Master of Clinical Audiology program.
Prepare and deliver lectures and seminars, conduct tutorials, practical classes and assessment of these tasks
Contribute to the day-to-day management of the theoretical and clinical examination of the Master of Clinical Audiology degree
Provide supervision and support for Master of Clinical Audiology students as well as providing subject coordination of programs of study in the Department
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be adaptable and flexible, capable of working effectively within a sizable team. They will demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively, ensuring project goals are met and deadlines are achieved. Additionally, their excellent written and verbal communication skills will facilitate maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
You will also have:
Masters degree in Clinical Audiology or equivalent
Aural rehabilitation experience in both practice and teaching
Eligibility for membership of Audiology Australia. A profile in teaching and scholarly activity as evidenced by the ability to develop assessment materials linked to learning goals, as well as the capacity to develop teaching materials, deliver lectures, facilitate problem-based tutorials and practical sessions and support on-line activities.

About the opportunity
As the appointee you will, under broad direction, be responsible for ensuring that the solutions are created and maintained in alignment with best practice and internal standards. You will work on business as usual and continuous improvement initiatives as well as work with project services team members on project delivery. Extensive technical experience with the following technologies: C#; .NET; Azure Integration Services.

Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recognise and resolve system related problems; work independently and make necessary decisions within guidelines.

About the RoleThe Research Fellow position within the Diamond and Atomic Quantum Technologies Lab at the University of Melbourne's School of Physics entails leading experiments focused on levitating nanodiamonds in high vacuum conditions.
These experiments will contribute to a larger project aiming to transduce the torques generated by quantum spin flips into physical rotation of diamond nanocrystals. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and innovative researcher with strong experimental prowess, capable of both independent work and collaboration within a team.

You are expected to significantly contribute towards the research effort of the team and to develop your research expertise with an increasing degree of autonomy.
Under the guidance and support of Senior Academic staff conduct internationally competitive research, resulting in publications in high impact journals.

Details of Appointment
One permanent full time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $120,114 - $130,181 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum
Relocation assistance and visa support may be available for the right applicant.

Eligibility:

Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of unregulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association.

A minimum of 3 years current post graduate experience in child, adolescent and/or youth mental health or relevant field.
Training in relevant and appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are developmentally appropriate such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
