The role:
Process requisitions, imprest lists and barcoded files to produce picking slips.
Pick and pack orders and dispatch goods in order of priority and liaise with clients as required.
Re-stock pick and bin locations and storage areas, always ensuring correct storage and stock rotation.
Review imprested and barcoded areas to ensure stock levels and ordered quantities are maintained at an economic and manageable level.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $64,125 - $68,925 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Duties
The purpose of the role is to work as part of a team of professional and technical staff in the laboratory to provide high quality, timely and accurate test results to clients. The Laboratory Technical Officer prepares and performs analysis of samples in accordance with standard operating procedures and instructions and performs the associated administrative, maintenance and equipment calibration activities as required.
Desirable Requirements
A Certificate III or Certificate IV in laboratory operations or an equivalent level, relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by either a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider.

Duties
Assist the Manager Information and Records Services with defining, developing and delivering the Information Asset Register.
Identify and engage with key stake holders in order to be able to elicit detailed information about the Department’s information assets.
Document and compile results of interviews and systems analysis into the Department’s Information Assets Register.
Support the Department’s implementation of the information security elements of the Tasmanian Government’s Protect Security Policy Framework (TAS-PSPF).
Work with key stakeholders to develop information and data sharing frameworks and arrangements.
