Base Location: Leeds
Salary: £10.57 p/h
Working Pattern: 37 hours | Permanent | Full Time with Flexible Working patterns available
What is the Role?
You’ll be working as part of a team undertaking the installation, maintenance, and routine work for a full range of highway lighting apparatus including street lighting columns, lanterns, brackets, poles and signs. This is a physically demanding role which will involve you working outdoors and on public highways, where you’ll also hold responsibility for operating mobile elevated works.
What Do I Need?
To be successful in this role, you'll preferably have experience of the Street Lighting industry, including operating machinery, working on the highway as well as a full understanding of utility drawings and the dangers of damaging underground service.
As safety is our number one priority and you must be confident to act on your own initiative in all situations. Therefore, we would also be keen to hear from candidates with CAT and Genny operation training or experience of working in the vicinity of electrical services G39 regs.
Finally, flexibility will be required for this role, as you may be required to form part of a call out rota to attend to emergencies outside of normal working hours as required. There is also an opportunity to earn incentive.
