The Department of Mechanical & Aerospace in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering is actively accepting applications from Federal Work Study Students for a part-time position to assist with a variety of general office tasks including, but not limited to the following job duties:
• Receive mail and packages from multiple delivery vendors – includes documenting items received and organizing by location.
• Delivery and Errands – Drop off or pick-up supplies or packages from building to building.
• Answer telephone calls and provide assistance.
• Greet guests, provide directions, and escort visitors to meetings.
• Work with computer - Send emails, create and update documentation, attend video conference meetings.

Work Schedule:
• Preferred availability of time: Weekdays from 10am to 1pm
• Other weekday times between 8am and 5pm will be considered.

Expected Salary:

$11.50 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

Federal Work Study Program award required. Must be in good standing with the University of Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communications skills
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs./ able to climb flights of stairs.
  • Attention to detail.
