Data Management Analyst II

Job Description:

Analysis and algorithm development –Gather and analyze data to interpret patterns, provide high level of quantitative analysis for research and organizational initiatives with the goal of improving clinical practice and supporting competitive federal research funding.

Database Abstraction and Database Management – Provide database management for various studies which includes meeting with researchers to ensure all data fields are included, setting up databases with various software systems, and cleaning/organizing data as needed.

Data Visualization – Includes developing charts, graphs, and diagrams from data to prepare for presentations.

Grant Development and Publication Writing – Includes entering in new data, missing data, and performing secondary data entry for quality purposes. Requires a high-level of attention to detail.

Project Consultation and Development – Will meet with Researchers and Investigators after they request a new consultation. Responsible for assisting with the development of their statistical analysis plans.

Expected Salary:

$66,500 to $82,300

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in an appropriate specialization (Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Bioinformatics). MBA’s with emphasis on quantitative analysis may be considered; or a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area with at least two years of experience may be considered.

Fluency with software such as R, Python, Tableau
