Job Description:

Salary: Level C: $131,739 - $151,900 p.a. or Level D: $158,624 - $174,754 p.a., plus superannuation.

The level of appointment is subject to the Appointee's research record, qualifications and experience.

An outstanding opportunity to join the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacology at the University of Melbourne as a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Pharmacology.

About the role:

The successful candidate will develop and maintain a high-level research program in a field of pharmacology complementary to existing areas of research strength in the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacology and deliver and support teaching and learning.

The Department is particularly seeking expertise in computational approaches to pharmacology and drug design, pharmacokinetics and toxicology and pharmacogenomics, as well as knowledge and, ideally, the experience of transitioning discoveries into translational development.

The successful candidate will be appointed at either Academic Level C or D, subject to the Appointee's research record, qualifications and experience.
