Senior Occupational Therapists – Multiple Vacancies in Acute, Rehab & Community

Following an announcement by the Tasmanian Government, a Public Health Direction was issued on 10 September 2021 requiring that all Health Workers are vaccinated against COVID-19. This step is critical in protecting both our health workforce and vulnerable Tasmanians in our care.

Launceston General Hospital in northern Tasmania is seeking experienced Senior Occupational Therapists interested in full-time work as key members of a multi-disciplinary team in an acute or sub-acute (rehab) position.

The Occupational Therapy department at Launceston General Hospital has over 30 OTs who work across emergency, medical & surgical wards, stroke unit, paediatrics, inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation, transition care & community. The department has a comprehensive induction program, ongoing professional support and supervision, weekly in-services, a funding allowance for continuing professional development, a variety of research interests and great working relationships with other Allied Health professions.

Details of Appointment

Multiple Permanent Full Time Day Worker positions available, working 76 hours per fortnight.

Salary: $94,469-$111,765 + 10% superannuation + access to salary packaging*

*salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible
