A newly created position of Clinical Lead – Occupational Therapy is waiting for you in Northern Tasmania. This position will operate as part of the OT management & leadership team and is responsible for developing and leading occupational therapy clinical activity across surgical services at the Launceston General Hospital. This includes elective and trauma admissions, and pre-operative and post-acute outpatients.

The Occupational Therapy department, based at the Launceston General Hospital, includes over 30 OTs who work across emergency, medical & surgical wards, stroke unit, paediatrics, inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation, transition care & community. The department has a comprehensive induction program, ongoing professional support and supervision, weekly in-services, a funding allowance for continuing professional development, a variety of research interests and great working relationships with other Allied Health professions.

Details of Appointment

Permanent Part Time Day Worker position available, working up to 56 hours per fortnight.

Salary: $109,108-$116,218 pro-rata per annum + 10% superannuation + access to salary packaging
