OPS PC Technician - IT Assets Team

Job Description:

The OPS PC Technician for the IT Assets Team receives and processes incoming computer equipment and supplies for an enterprise healthcare environment; transports equipment and supplies to storage or deployment locations; assists with procurement requests, inventory management, vendor coordination and compliance requirements; processes defective equipment for repair or disposal.

The work schedule for the position is is M-F 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of one-year experience in technical customer service or other relevant experience. Worker will need to qualify to drive a service vehicle. All travel will be completed same day, no overnight required. Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • College Graduate with AA or AS degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
  • Must have excellent customer service demeanor, verbal communication skills, and a working knowledge of end user computing hardware.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems is preferred.
  • Industry standard technical certifications (A+, MCP, etc.) preferred.
  • Familiarity with the vendor procurement process, purchase order systems, PeopleSoft and other fulfillment systems preferred.
