Base Location: Griffin Wind Farm, Perthshire

Salary:£32,851 - £43,385 depending on skills and experience + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

What is the Role?

As Site Supervisor, you'll manage and lead the site-based teams, ensuring site safety is adhered to at all times, and that the wind farms meet their availability and production targets whilst remaining fully compliant with external and internal requirements.

Some of your other main accountabilities will include;

- Facilitating safe system of work for staff and contractors by carrying out inductions, reviewing risk assessments and method statements

- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as well as working parties out on site, engaging with them positively around safety

- Ensuring maintenance routines are carried out on time and to the required standard

- Providing emergency response by reacting to incidents (occasionally out of hours), carrying out investigations and sharing the learnings across the business

- Hold daily engagements with site staff and contractors as well as start-up meetings for certain work-scopes, tool box talks, and weekly and monthly stakeholder meetings

This role will require you to work across wind farms in the Perth hub, as well as various other locations throughout the Great British south region to support our business needs as and when required. It may involve extensive travel and occasional periods staying away from home, therefore, a flexible approach to working hours is essential

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, we would love you to have:

- A minimum of ONC / SNVQ III level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline and/or have demonstrable previous experience working on electro-mechanical systems such as rotating machines, gearboxes, switch gear and control systems

- The ability to read and follow engineering drawings, single line diagrams and schematics

- A high regard for health and safety

- Strong organisational and communication skills which can be adapted to your audience

- Experience of working at height

- Ideally, you'll have experience of pressure systems and lifting equipment

- A basic understanding of financial protocols is desirable, as you'll be accountable for budget building and spending

- Ideally you'll have supervisory experience gained from within a fast moving, operational environment

Due to the nature of this role, you should reside or be willing to relocate within 45minutes travel distance to the site due to safety. As travel will be involved, a full and valid driving license is essential.
