Base Location: Flexible Scotland

Salary:£32,900 - £49,300 depending on skills and experience + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working options available

What is the Role?

This is an exciting opportunity to join the SSE Renewables Projects Services team to support the development and construction of a portfolio of wind and hydro Projects. As Project Planner, you'll provide planning and scheduling services for projects using Primavera P6.

Some of your main accountabilities will include;

- Producing Integrated Master Schedules with integration of Contractor programmes

- Identifying critical path and ensure potential delays to critical activities are identified and mitigated

- Providing Project Management with analysis of schedule delay impacts and mitigation strategies

- Reviewing programme submissions from EPC Contractors (Schedule Quality, Delay Events etc)

- Establishing the Programme Baseline and monitor monthly performance and variance analysis

- Running 'what-if' Planning/Programme scenarios

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Considerable Project Planning experience, working with large, multi-contract Engineering and Construction projects, including building fully integrated complex activity networks

- Proficiency in planning methods and highly skilled in Primavera P6

- Commercial Awareness and knowledge of construction contracting structures (e.g. NEC3/4)

- Outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills

- Understanding of Energy projects, particularly in onshore or offshore Wind would be beneficial
