Salary: Associate Professor $158,624 - $174,754 pa / Professor $204,320 pa

Basis of Employment: Fixed-Term - 3 years (with possibility of extension)


The Centre for Health Policy, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health (MSPGH) is seeking to appoint an outstanding applicant who can enhance its research strengths and continue its position locally and nationally as a leader in health program/ system evaluation and implementation science. The successful candidate will assume the role of Head of the Evaluation and Implementation Science Unit within the centre.

The Evaluation and Implementation Science Unit (EIS) is an established group of approximately 13 researchers who focus on generating evidence to inform better policy and practice. The Unit also seeks to better understand development, uptake, adoption, and implementation of evidence-based interventions, health services and policies. The stream includes research across the continuum of health programs and interventions from those targeting the social determinants of health to those addressing health service innovation and program implementation.
