Job Description:

Following an announcement by the Tasmanian Government, a Public Health Direction was issued on 10 September 2021 requiring that all Health Workers are vaccinated against COVID-19. This step is critical in protecting both our health workforce and vulnerable Tasmanians in our care.

Health services are expanding in northern Tasmania and new positions for experienced Occupational Therapists have become available. We have vacancies to match your skills and interests in acute medicine, surgery & trauma, complex care, ambulatory rehab and community services across northern Tasmania.

The Occupational Therapy department is based at Launceston General Hospital and includes over 30 OTs who work across emergency, medical & surgical wards, stroke unit, paediatrics, inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation, transition care & community. The department has a comprehensive induction program, ongoing professional support and supervision, weekly in-services, a funding allowance for continuing professional development, a variety of research interests and great working relationships with other Allied Health professions.

Details of Appointment

Multiple Permanent Full Time Day Worker position available, working 76 hours per fortnight.

Salary: $94,469-$111,765 + 10% superannuation + access to salary packaging
