About the role: The Research Data Manager will be innovative and highly engaged with the Australian and international medical research community. This position represents an exciting opportunity to work with unique, large-scale, highly valuable research datasets, several of which have been taken decades to establish. Your contributions will translate to impactful, real world advances in public health, both nationally and globally.

About you:

Minimum Qualifications Required: you will hold a degree in information systems, computer science, epidemiology, or health science related discipline.

Skills and Experience required to fulfill the position: you will have demonstrated experience performing data management tasks, with SQL database expertise that includes querying, formatting, and extracting data. You will have the ability to learn new database and statistical software programming languages. You will also have a working knowledge of ethics, confidentiality, security, and privacy as they relate to population health research data. You will possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to write user manuals, technical documentation, and protocols.
