Base Location: Highlands

Salary:£26,120 - £34,500 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working options available

What is the Role?

Key Responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of resilience surveying as part of our resilience tree cutting programme.

- Inspection of key networks to identify the tree's that pose a threat to these networks, complete the risk scoring process and identify potential costs involved in dealing with the risk.

- Negotiate with landowners, statutory bodies and stakeholders in order to obtain relevant consents to allow tree cutting work to proceed.

- Responsible to produce work packs and associated documents for issues to both internal and external tree cutting teams to allow them to complete the work in a safe and efficient manner.

- Involved with contractor liaison and quality inspections to ensure work is completed as planned in a safe and efficient manner to a high standard.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience in both utility arboricultural and forestry industries with sound knowledge of relevant legislation and a good understanding and knowledge of the Transmission and Distribution networks

- Hold the NPTC UA5 Utility Arboricultural Surveyor - Practises and Principles qualifications

- Good knowledge and understanding of the Energy Networks Association Engineering Technical Specification 43-8 and Engineering Technical Report 132 documents Previous experience in working with, supervising or managing contractors

- You will have strong interpersonal and communications skills coupled with the ability to influence others at all levels both internally and externally.
