Base Location: Perth, Glasgow or Reading

Salary: £29,290 - £48,648 depending on skills and experience + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working options available

What is the Role?

As we are a monopoly business that is regulated by Ofgem, our Regulatory Reporting Analyst will:

- review and ensure investment schemes are allocated correctly against regulatory budgets, provide advice on the content of Price Control Final Determination, regulatory obligations and the consequences of exceedance and shortfall.

- work with Investment Managers and Project Managers, produce and maintain ‘one source of truth’ of outputs delivered

- carry out monthly analysis of financial performance and regulatory output

- work to a strict timetable, prepare and check SSEN’s annual external reporting to OFGEM

- support IT system developments in line with adapting regulatory programme reporting and business needs, and general support and training to the wider business on matters relating to the regulatory contract

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we're looking for you to have:

- the capability to review and interpret regulatory documents

- demonstrable experience in analysing big data and good attention to detail

- keen interest in developing reporting and forecasting capability

- advanced Excel skills, proficient user of Microsoft Power Bi, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint

- excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work on your own initiative and to deadlines within a high-pressure environment

- a working knowledge of the Electricity Distribution Industry, as well as the Regulatory framework that Distribution Network Operators operate in
