We are seeking to appoint a Laboratory Manager at South West Sydney Clinical School to ensure the efficient and effective support of laboratory-based research, oversee the safe and effective use of research facilities and equipment as well as provide support and training for researchers and laboratory users. The person is responsible for ensuring that the Faculty’s research facilities meet all obligations in terms of research regulations, laboratory practice standards and workplace health and safety procedures.

The role reports to the Chief of Staff, South Western Sydney (SWS) Clinical School, UNSW Sydney and the Scientific Operations Manager, Ingham Institute and has no direct reports. This role will be in close collaboration with the Research Infrastructure Manager, Faculty of Medicine, UNSW Sydney.
