Position Summary

Please note that appointment will made at either Associate Professor in Networking and Cybersecurity (Level D), or Professor in Networking and Cybersecurity (Level E). Please indicate in your suitability statement the level for which you wish to be considered.

Associate Professor:
The Associate Professor will be a senior member of the academic staff in the area of computer science and information technology in the College. In addition to leading quality research endeavours, the incumbent will, under broad supervision, provide leadership in the planning and delivery of topics within the suite of programs, including development of teaching materials, delivery of lectures/tutorials or other innovative teaching and learning strategies, examinations and may be involved in placement education.

The Professor will, under broad supervision, provide academic leadership in research, teaching and community engagement in the discipline of computer science and information technology. The position will provide outstanding leadership in the study of cybersecurity and networking.

The Professor will be able and willing to take a strong leadership role with Early Career Researchers and Middle Career Researchers. They will significantly enhance the College's reputation as a centre of excellence in education and research, both nationally and internationally, particularly in relation to the cybersecurity and networking aspects of computer science.
