Job Description:

The UF Computing Help Desk is looking for undergraduate students to fill multiple positions in our entry level Account Specialist positions. The Account Specialist position focuses on GatorLink account assistance and other basic troubleshooting in areas such as WiFi, VPN, and GatorMail.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Assist the UF community in troubleshooting assistance via phone
  • Document help requests in our ticketing system
  • Flexibility to work up to 15 – 20 hours a week

This position can lead to other roles at the Help Desk such as Technical Consultant and Supervisor. The skills learned in this position meet qualifications often sought after by campus recruiters and hiring managers include excellent communication, confidence, ability to plan and research, collaborating well in a team environment , and effectively analyzing situations.

Expected Salary:

$10.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:Applicant must be a current undergraduate student at the University of Florida and registered for classes 6 hours or more during the current semester.
