Job Description:

The Centre for Youth Mental Health and Orygen have multiple Research Assistant (RA) positions available to join The Trajectories and Predictors in the Clinical High Risk for Psychosis Population: Prediction Scientific Global Consortium (PRESCIENT). PRESCIENT is a new large-scale, non-interventional research project funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) that will examine clinical trajectories and predictors in young people at ultra-high risk (UHR) of developing psychosis.

A number of positions are available ranging from 0.6 to 1.0 FTE, and successful applicants are expected to be based at one (or more) of Orygen’s key recruitment sites including Parkville, headspace Glenroy, headspace Craigieburn, headspace Sunshine, headspace Werribee and/or headspace Melton. The successful applicant will also work across two other established projects running concurrently with PRESCIENT. Please outline your preference/availability for a part- or full-time position (and days available), and/or a particular location (if applicable), in your application.

At Orygen, our leadership and staff work to deliver cutting-edge research, policy development, innovative clinical services, and evidence-based training and education to ensure that there is continuous improvement in the treatments and care provided to young people experiencing mental ill-health.
