Title: Superintendent OPF (Ore Processing Facility) Control, Solomon HIVE

Work location: Perth based

Roster: 4D3R (other options exist)

A new opportunity exists for a highly motivated and driven leader within our Solomon Operations team. Reporting to the Manager OPF Operations, the new Superintendent OPF Control will spearhead Solomon Fixed Plant Control in Fortescue’s integrated mine-port-rail control centre the HIVE. This is a high-profile position requiring strong stakeholder engagement skills and a high level of technical expertise that will play a critical role in supporting Solomon to safely achieve its production, quality and cost requirements that align with the overall company requirements.

The Solomon operation includes Kings Valley OPF, a wet beneficiation (scrubbing and desanding) which produces 45 Mtpa from a Channel Iron Deposit (CID); Firetail OPF, a dry crushing and screening plant that produces 30 Mtpa; and the stockyard and train loadout (TLO), comprising two stackers, one reclaimer, and a TLO capable of loading 76 Mtpa.
