Job Description:

Base Location: Perth, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness

Salary:£29,000 - £38,000 depending on skills and experience

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

What is the Role?

SSEN Transmission currently has an opportunity for an experienced Asset Data & Systems Analyst.

Your key responsibilities in this role are:

  1. Delivery of critical outputs that will enable the success of the Asset Data & Systems team, whilst also taking the lead on the business’ transformational changes.
  2. You'll work directly with business representatives to ensure data quality requirements are captured and that data analysis, maturity models and controls are established.
  3. You'll also be responsible for delivering improvements and establishing a greater level of confidence in the information we have to make key business decisions and help drive profitability in the organisations.
  4. You will gather data for assessment from variety sources (including University research predictive model study). This information will be modelled, normalized and documented.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  1. Proven ability of working with Analytics/Reporting development for Transmission Assets.
  2. Expert knowledge in Microsoft Applications, including VBA.
  3. A natural strategic and analytical approach to problem solving and a high level of proficiency in MS Power BI.
  4. Extensive experience in Data Quality Dashboarding/Quality Metrics creation and Data Science.
  5. Knowledge of SSRS, SSIS and SQL beneficial as well as Python and Tableau.
