$62,601 to $95,776 pro-rata, per annum

Multiple vacancies:

Permanent full time or part time day work, working various hours up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing asap.

Fixed term full-time or part-time day work, working various hours up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing asap for a period of 12 months.

Duties

We have rotational roles in acute rehabilitation, sub-acute settings, medical inpatient, and surgical inpatient caseloads. The occupational therapy service in the southern region has 80 team members including occupational therapists, assistants, diversional therapy therapists, play specialists, carpenter, and administration support.

As an Occupational Therapist you are expected to draw on your clinical skills and knowledge to provide client centred therapy to address the client’s occupational goals. You will have an opportunity to rotate into different clinical caseloads and will be supported through a structured supervision program and professional development opportunities. At all times you will maintain the Code of Conduct of the Occupational Therapy Board.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.

The following checks are to be conducted:

b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty
