Base Location: Perth

Salary: £36,836 - £48,648 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working options available

What is the Role?

The Real Time Systems team provides a system design, project delivery and system support service for the Operational Applications that are used by our Network Management Centres to monitor and manage the Electricity Transmission and Distribution Networks. In this role you will:

- work on small and large Operational Technology projects

- provide day to day support services for the Primary Operational Applications, such as the GE PowerOn Distribution Management System

- work with a range of internal customers as well as internal and external service providers and project managers

- be part of a rota providing 24/7 support for critical national infrastructure

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- a passion for working with technology and people

- a degree level (or equivalent) qualification in a Computing, Engineering or Science based discipline (or demonstrable practical experience in one of these areas)

- knowledge of the principles of software and hardware design and a working knowledge of Linux, Windows and Database applications

- working experience in a project management environment

- a valid UK driving licence is required to enable travel to remote sites.
