$109,108 to $116,218 pro-rata, per annum

Please note that access to the progression point of Year 4Q salary of $116,218 is subject to successful completion of a relevant Master’s Degree as with Clause 10 of the Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2019

Duties

Are you a passionate physiotherapy in the acute medical field? Do you have the skills, experience, and potential to provide contemporary evidence-based physiotherapy services as part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary service at the largest public teaching hospital in Tasmania, the Royal Hobart Hospital? If so, this is the opportunity for you. We provide a wide range of acute, sub-acute and specialised services at the Royal Hobart Hospital and in the community.

The Medical Services Team provides physiotherapy services and supports patient flow across the range of general medicine, medical specialties, acute stroke, oncology, older persons unit, rapid assessment medical unit and emergency department.

The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking interest from experienced senior physiotherapist in the clinical areas of either neurology, medical specialties acute geriatric services or rapid assessment medical units for a fixed term Team Leader (Senior Physiotherapist) vacancy.

As part of the Physiotherapy Medical Services Team, the successful applicant will meet all of the selection criteria for this position and will possess strong skills or potential in clinical supervision, teaching and training, teamwork and quality improvement.
