This your opportunity to build on your remarkable career, as a proven senior academic leader you will lead and deliver on the vision for the nursing program in our highly successful and growing discipline. A key feature of this opportunity is the close relationship with the ACT Health Directorate and your opportunity to collaborate and partner and represent the faculty both internally and externally.

To be successful in this opportunity, you will be an experienced academic leader, specialising in nursing, with a track record in innovative curriculum development and delivery and a strong scholarly record of achievement, demonstrated achievements in research and you will actively engage and contribute to faculty and university strategic planning.

To be eligibly to apply you must hold a PhD in Nursing (or a related field) and should be registered with AHPRA as a Nurse in Australia.

Please note the appointee to this may serve an initial 3-year term as Discipline Lead in the Faculty of Health. We will consider applications at both Academic Level E and D for consideration for this opportunity please indicate which level/s you wish to be considered for when you complete the online application form.

At the level E appointment, you will be involved in engagement in faculty and university strategic planning and implementation, mentoring other staff, senior internal and external representation and contributing to the creation of a positive workplace culture that lives the university values.

At the level D appointment, you will be expected to be involved in making contributions to the undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching and research in the Discipline of Nursing.
