Registered Nurse, Grade 3-4

Salary

$66,421 to $91,807 pro-rata per annum

in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service Agreement) 2019

  • Access to the Grade 4 salary range $85,950 - $91,807 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.

Period of Employment

Permanent, full time, part time, shift work (fully rotational), working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing ASAP

Hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant

Duties

In the role of Registered Nurse – Permanent Pool you will:

  • Work as a member of the team to undertake acute patient care across multiple impatient units on a day to day basis within the Royal Hobart Hospital

  • Strengthen health outcomes through the provision of safe and clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.

Applicants should display the ability and willingness to work across all general inpatient units.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

  • Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:

a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty
