Job Description:

The Team:

The Virtual Care Data Team supports the delivery of high-quality virtual care by providing business and technical support, data administration and analysis, and project management for key virtual care systems. Working closely with clinical and administrative teams, the Virtual Care Data Team ensures the effective integration of digital solutions that enhance patient care, streamline workflows, and support data-driven decision-making. Through innovation and collaboration, the team plays a vital role in optimising virtual care services across the Tasmanian health system.

The Role:

The Senior Business and Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Virtual Care Data Team by providing expert advice on data collection, analysis, and reporting to enhance the delivery of virtual care services. This role is responsible for developing and implementing business processes, policies, and reporting frameworks to support service planning, operational efficiency, and performance monitoring. The Senior Business and Data Analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders to analyse existing systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions that enhance patient outcomes. Additionally, the role involves managing business-led projects with ICT components, ensuring data integrity, and facilitating responses to information requests.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2025.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $107,899 to $122,292 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
